Description
Gigaopto’s GTQ-M85A4-02DC transceiver is designed for use in 40Gbps links over multimode fiber and operates at a nominal wavelength of 850nm, reaching a link up to 150m over OM4 MMF (100m over OM3) via a 12 Fibers MTP/MPO Male connector.
The transmitter section uses four Vertical Cavity Surface Emitted Lasers (VCSEL). The receiver section uses four integrated GaAs detector preamplifiers (IDPs) and four limiting post-amplifier ICs. and featuring with Gigaopto’s proven circuit, this QSFP+ SR4 provides reliable long life, high performance and consistent service.
It is with the QSFP+ 38-pin connector to allow hot plug capability.Digital diagnostics functions are available via an I2C interface, including Tx and Rx power monitoring. The optical transceiver is compliant as per the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU.
This 40Gbps SR4 transceiver is compliant with QSFP+ MSA, IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-SR4 and breakout to 4x10GBASE-SR standard.
With these features, this easy to install, hot swappable transceiver is suitable to be used in various applications, such as data centers, campus and computing networks, interconnections within and between switches, routers, NICs and transport equipment.
