Application
Description
The Cisco QSFP-4X10G-AOC Compatible 40G Active Optical Breakout Cable, operating over Multi-Mode Fiber (MMF).It provides a connection of a 40G QSFP+ port on one end and to four 10G SFP+ ports on the other end and is suitable for quick and simple connections within racks and across adjacent racks.
It is fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-SR4,IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR,SFF-8431 and SFF-8436 standards. The length is up to 100 meters using OM3 MMF. Digital diagnostics functions are available via an I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP+ MSA.
