Description
The 10Gigabit Cisco SFP-10G-AOC Compatible active optical cables are direct-attach fiber assemblies with SFP+ connectors. Based on our vertically integrated VCSEL array technology and designed with SFP+ connectors, they have very good power dissipation performance.
This SFP+ AOC provides a cost-effective solution as compared to using discrete optical transceivers and optical patch cables and are suitable for 10Gbps transmission within racks and across adjacent racks.The length of the SFP+ Active Optical Cable is up to 300 meters on OM3 MMF.
It is compatible with 1G/10G Ethernet(10GbE), Fiber Channel 1G,2G,4G,8G (1/2/4/8GFC), 1x InfiniBand SDR,DDR, QDR applications. All 10G active optical cables are compliant with SFF-8431,SFF-8432, SFF-8472 and RoHS standard.
Each 10G AOC is quality tested for compatibility in the targeted switch environment before shipping.
