Gigaopto’s 25G BiDi eLR transceiver GTS-B23B1-20DI is a small form factor pluggable module for bi-directional serial optical data communications such as 25G Ethernet and CPRI Option 10. It provides 25GBase throughput up to 20km over single mode fiber (SMF) using a wavelength of 1270nm-TX/1330nm-RX via LC simplex connector.

The transmitter section uses a 1270nm multiple quantum well DFB laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825. The receiver section uses an integrated InGaAs detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a rate selection clock data recovery (CDR) IC. All transceivers are Class1 laser products that comply with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.

It is with the SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot-plug capability.Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472,which provides real-time monitoring of the transceiver temperature, laser bias current, optical power, received optical power and transceiver supply voltage.

Operating Temperature Industrial grade ranged from -40 to 85ºC. It is made with robust and reliable components to meet the needs of Industrial Ethernet application under harsh environmental conditions.
