Description
Gigaopto’s GTS-L13B1-40DC transceiver provides 25GBase-ER throughput up to 40km distance for optical data communications such as 25G Ethernet and CPRI Option 10. It is with the SFP+ 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability.
This 25G SFP28 ER module is designed for single mode fiber and operates at a nominal wavelength of 1310 nm. The transmitter section uses a 1310nm multiple quantum well DFB laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825. The receiver section uses an integrated InGaAs detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a rate selection clock data recovery (CDR) IC.
Compatible with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, it supports Wireless (CPRI/eCPRI), 25G Ethernet ER and 25G Fiber Channel protocol. It has built-in clock and data recovery (CDR). Digital diagnostic functions are available via an I2C, as specified in SFF-8472 and SFF-8402.
