100GBASE-SR BiDi QSFP28 Optical Transceiver Module for Ethernet and Data Center (MMF,850nm,100m, LC,DOM)
Description
This QSFP28 SR BiDi 100G transceiver (our part number GTQ-M08B4-02DC) supports 41.25-103.125Gbps data rate and such applications as 100G Ethernet (103.125Gbps) and 40G Ethernet (41.25Gbps), and interconnect link up to 70m over OM3, 100m over OM4 and 150m over OM5 with an 2-fiber duplex LC connector.
The 100G SR BIDI transceiver uses VSCEL laser transmitters and PIN Photodiode, in this module,four 25Gbps data streams are internally encoded into two 50GBd PAM4 signals, which are transmitted optically in two 850/900nm bidirectional links. On the receiving side, the two 50GBd PAM4 signals are decoded and the four original 25Gbps data streams are recovered.
This transceiver is compliant with the QSFP28 MSA and IEEE 802.3bm CAUI-4 electrical interface.
Digital diagnostics functions are also available via an I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP28 MSA, to allow access to real-time operating parameters.
Additionally, it supports FEC (Forward Error Correction) function which will help receiving side detect and correct bit errors and improve the overall quality of the link.
BIDI-100G-QSFP28-150 optical transceiver is designed for Data Center Applications and provides benefit to migrate from 10G to 100G data rates between switches and servers without the need to replace optical fiber infrastructure in the data center.
