Products Description of 10G SFP+ CWDM-ER 40km (1270~1610)nm Series


This CWDM SFP+ ER Transceiver provides high capacity, high bandwidth communication solutions for multiplexed optical networks. It it designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links up to 40km over standard single mode fiber with an LC duplex connector.

The transceiver consists of two sections: The transmitter section incorporates a DFB laser. And the receiver section consists of a PIN photodiode integrated with a TIA. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements.

18 center wavelengths are available from 1270nm to 1610nm with each step 20nm.

The SFP+ Module is compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, CE, RoHS, FCC and IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-ER and 10G Fibre Channel.

The module is with the SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. The single 3.3V power supply is needed. The optical output can be disabled by LVTTL logic high-level input of TX_DIS. Loss of signal (RX_LOS) output is provided to indicate the loss of an input optical signal to the receiver.

Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472, which allows real-time access to device operating parameters such as transceiver temperature, laser bias current, transmitted optical power, received optical power and transceiver supply voltage.

Each optical transceivers are tested the reliability, interoperability and compatibility before shipping.
