Description
Gigaopto’s GTS-B2396-10DI features a highly reliable 1270nm DFB laser and 1330nm PIN photo-detector, designed to transmit and receive serial optical data over OS2 single mode fiber with 10km max transmission via an LC simplex connector.
Built with hardened components, this SFP+ BIDI LR industrial transceiver is ruggedly designed to withstand extended industrial temperatures from -40°C to 85°C. It is suitable for extreme industrial environments such as telecommunication, data processing and management, industrial and factory automation, machine control, surveillance, mining, oil and gas, rail, intelligent transportation systems (ITSs), and other outdoor applications.
Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472, which provides real-time monitoring of the transceiver temperature, laser bias current, optical power, received optical power and transceiver supply voltage.
This 10GBASE-BXU-I SFP BIDI transceiver is fully compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432 and the IEEE 802.3ae standards.
