Description

The GIGAOPTO's GTS-C2712-40DC series transceivers are high performance, cost effective modules supporting data rate of 1.25Gbps and 40km transmission distance with single mode fiber (SMF) via an LC connector.There are 18 center wavelengths available from 1270nm to 1610nm with each step 20nm.

The transceiver consists of three sections: a CWDM DFB laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) support is present for real-time performance monitoring via 2-wire Interface (TWI/I2C).

This transceiver is fully compliant with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), 1000BASE-CWDM and SERDES standard, and can be used on MSA compliant SFP ports of optical networking equipment.
