Description
The GIGAOPTO's GTS-L1324-15DC transceiver, supporting data rate of 2.5Gbps and 15km transmission distance with SMF using a nominal wavelength of 1310nm, is designed for 2.488Gbps SONET OC-48 and SDH STM-16 Intermediate Reach (IR-1) application. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) support is present for real-time performance monitoring via 2-wire Interface (TWI/I2C).
The 2.5Gbps SFP transceiver consists of the below sections: the LD driver, the limiting amplifier, the digital diagnostic monitor, the 1310nm DFB laser and the PIN photo-detector. The SFP transceiver module is a Class 1 laser product that complies with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.
This transceiver is compatible with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and SFF-8472 specifications.
