Description
The GIGAOPTO's GTS-T0002-10-B transceiver supports up to 100m link lengths over a copper connection via an RJ-45 connector. It’s a high-performance, cost-effective module compliant with the Fast Ethernet and 100-BASE-T standards as specified in IEEE802.3u, supporting 100Mbps data-rate up to 100 meters reach over unshielded twisted-pair category 5 cables. The module provides standard serial ID information compliant with SFP MSA, which can be accessed with address of A0h via the 2 wire serial CMOS EEPROM protocol.
The Copper SFP transceiver features low power consumption (1W for 100m), and is compatible with various brands of hosts, widely used in data centers and enterprise networks.
