Description

The GIGAOPTO's GTS-B5412-C0DC SFP BIDI transceiver is a small form factor pluggable module for Gigabit Ethernet 1000BASE-BX and Fiber Channel single fiber applications by using 1490nm/1550nm transmitter and 1550nm/1490nm receiver. The SFP transceiver provides up to 120km transmission distance of 1000Base-BX throughput over single-mode fiber (SMF). Its electrical interface is MSA compliant 20-pin edge type connector and the optical interface is Simplex LC connector.

The transmitter section uses a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC 60825. The receiver section uses an integrated B type/A type detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC.

This transceiver is fully compliant with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3 1000BASE-BX120 and SERDES

standard.
